School Council

Welcome to Owler Brook School Council

What is a school council?

School Council is the voice of the school. School Council is there to help improve the school and their community on behalf of the children that attend. We listen and walk around the school to find out what you want us to do.

We’ve met up and had regular meetings and discussed what you wanted School Council to do. Some of the work we did last year was: Dental care, Syrian Refugees, and Anti-bullying and Friendship week.

The thing that I enjoyed most about being in school council was pulling the actual work together. I also enjoyed being the leader of School Council.

I have developed many skills in school council, such as confidence, team work, communication and listening.

Yahia Muflehi, Class 12
